The Mercedes GLS claims to be the S-Class of the SUV. Significantly larger than its predecessor, with plenty of modern technology and new engines on board, it offers at least good basics. But what can the premium SUV really deliver? During my test drive in the Mercedes GLS 580 4MATIC, I show how much S-Class the GLS has to offer and if it also works as an off-roader.
